Testimony:

"There is an attorney, Gordon Reiselt, who answers questions, and seems very knowledgeable. He has a law firm in New Mexico. You can see by his responses that he is not fishing for business. He gives direct answers, often tells people they don't need a lawyer, and gives advice on what steps to take."

Gordon Reiselt was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended grammar and high school in New Jersey and graduated in 1964. Upon graduation from high school, he entered the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1968. Immediately after graduation from the University of Pittsburgh, Gordon entered law school at Duquense University School of Law in an evening program while he taught full time during the day as a teacher in a middle school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He taught grades 3, 6 and 8.

Upon graduation from Duquense University School of Law, Gordon was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. He practiced law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for approximately two years with the law firm of Berlin, Boas, Logan, Sharon and Swanger. His practice was limited to civil litigation, civil rights and criminal defense. Gordon was also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

In 1974, Gordon joined Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) and after training in Dallas, Texas, he was assigned to work with the Home Education Livelihood Program (HELP) in Albuquerque. He worked as corporate counsel with HELP where he represented minority businesses funded by the Ford Foundation and the Federal Government and where he helped spearhead the National Demonstration Order Project (NDOP) in New Mexico. He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of New Mexico as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico in May in 1974. In June of 1978, he was admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

After leaving HELP, Gordon was employed with Northern New Mexico Legal Services in Bernalillo, New Mexico, where his general area of practice was civil law with an emphasis on poverty law and marital law. In 1976, Gordon started a private practice which primarily consisted of personal injury, workers' compensation, marital law, criminal law and poverty law. In 1985 Gordon joined Singer, Smith & Williams, P.A., which dissolved in December 1999. On January 1, 2000, Gordon joined Krehbiel, Bannerman & Horn, P.A. in an "of counsel" status.

Gordon is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the New Mexico and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the Allegany, Philadelphia, and the Albuquerque Bar Association.

Gordon served on the Board of Directors of Quote - UnQuote, Inc. from 1977 until 1985. Quote - UnQuote is presently T.V. channel 30 which is the community access channel. Gordon also served on the March of Dimes Board of Directors in 1981, and presently serves on the Board of Living Through Cancer, Inc.

Currently, Gordon's primary interest and concentration in the practice of law includes representation of Federal injured workers under the Federal Employees' Compensation Act.

Since 1999, Gordon has been disabled and this has caused his association with the law firm of Bannerman & Williams to be an "of counsel" member. This disability has severely limited Gordon's ability to work, and he sincerely appreciates the kind understanding of Bannerman & Williams that has helped him through this ordeal.
